Lover of books all shapes and sizes

Recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature and History, I am hoping to carry on my musings and connections with books through this blog, since being out of school it has proven difficult to retain that same focus on literature. I also want to connect with other bookworms out there, so join me, comment, recommend, critique, engage, ย but most importantly I hope that you enjoy my blog. I don’t want to restrict myself to just one genre of literature, which means my ultimate goal is to have a variety of fantasy, poetry, biographies, fiction, non-fiction, historical, you name it I want to read it!

  1. Hi! I’m wondering if you like short stories. Do you?

If so, would you like to review a short ebook of short stories for me? I’m self-publishing one soon (this month).

I’m keeping my fingers crossed that you say “yes” to both!

  2. Hello from a fellow (not so recent) English major! I like your blog and would be honored if you’d consider taking a look at my new novel, “Samaritans” โ€” my blog and a link to the book is at samaritansbyannap.wordpress.com. The nuances of blogging, e-publishing, etc. are a bit new to me. ๐Ÿ™‚

Thank you and wish you a wonderful day.

  5. Hello! I have a fantasy book coming out in August and I was wondering if you would be willing to do a review on it. I get it back from the editor before the 1st and could send over a pdf. Here is the back of the book and chapter 1 (not professionally edited) if you want to see a sample before you agree. http://wp.me/P3LyhT-4G

Would you be interested in this?

    • Hi K.T. Munson!
Thanks so much for asking me to write a review of your upcoming fantasy book. First of all, congrats on writing a book! I am sure it didn’t write itself over night.
Secondly, could I be able to see a sample? How long is the book itself? Is there a deadline for the review?
      Thanks in advance!

      • Hi back! Thank you. It has been quite a journey but then again every book is.

The sample can be found on my blog. The back of the book and chapter 1. Here: ttp://wp.me/P3LyhT-4G the book is about 63,000 words. I do shorter chapters in this book, so there is about 56 chapters. I am releasing the book to everyone on August 22 but I can get you an earlier copy to review (I just got it back from the editor) I would like a review done by September 30th if at all possible. The closer to August 22 the better but into September is fine.

Thanks for your consideration. If you have any more questions feel free to email me at k.t.munson1@gmail.com

  6. Hi, I am Ed Cobleigh and I would like to interest you in reviewing my new novel, The Pilot; Fighter Planes and Paris. The book is an aviation/adventure novel set in Paris with a strong, intelligent woman as the co-protagonist to The Pilot, an un-named fighter pilot. Initial reviews on Amazon have been laudatory, including one sterling review posted by a recent grad of Cal Poly SLO in English Lit. If you are interested, I will send you a signed, gratis copy. Thanks for listening

  7. Hello! I actually found your blog on behalf of the newly published author, Beverly Ann White. She has just published her biography, Sassafras, A Quilt Journal: A Love Story About A Divorce, and we would love for you to review it. Here’s the Amazon link for information about the author and the book: http://www.amazon.com/dp/1478757523. Please let me know if you are interested and we can get you all the information you need!
