I came across this book un my uni years, but I was just too swamped with required readings for my courses to get into it, so I am glad that I have picked it up again because so far it has been a pleasant read. Nothing like her Harry Potter series in terms of genre, but in my opinion she has transitioned really well. I feel that it really demonstrates her flexibility in literature genres. It’s written through the perspective of a handful of characters who interact with each other at various stages as they all live in the fictional town of Pagford.

Have you read any of Rowling’s books aside from the Potter series?
